The soul of vampires was so persistent and so prevalent that a supernatural, more adorable, and more impressive creature can not come to mind in the last few decades. Clearly, Manga, light novel, Anime, and OVAs formed part, depending on how you see them, of the grand vampire tradition by adding considerable material to the genre.

This list will tell you ten of the evilest to the most righteous vampires of anime. Beware of the spoilers, you may not know if you haven't watched the anime or read the manga for some of these vampires.

10. Blood Lad

Staz Charlie Blood is a mighty vampire, which governs the Demon World Eastern District. He's a bloody and pitiless monster, according to rumors, but in reality, he's an otaku who is overwhelmed with Japanese culture and who has no interest in human blood. Staz spends all his days lazing, indulging in anime, manga, and sports, leaving the management of his territory to his underlings.

When the Japanese girl Fuyumi Yanagi accidentally crosses a portal leading into the world of demons, Staz is glad. But just as it is beginning to experience an unusual attraction, it is attacking its territory, leading to the untimely death of Fuyumi. The fallen Staz vows to revive her, as that would mean to travel to the human world, which he has always dreamed of. It turns into a wandering fantasy.

Blood Lad, who soon joined Bell and Wolf as the space magician, followed Staz and Fuyumi, as they travel to discover a magic that can revive humans.

9. Trinity Blood

After the destruction caused by Armageddon, the background is in the distant future. There continues to be war between vampires and humans. The Vatican needs to rely on other allies to counter the situation in order to protect people from vampires. Abel Nightroad, the protagonist, is a traveling Vatican priest and a vampire, crunk, who drinks the blood of vampires. He is a member of the 'Ax' group, Cardinal Catherine Sforza's special operations group.

Rating: 8/10

He meets Esther with a young woman who decides to train in the Vatican with him to Rome. The Rozencreuz order, led by the twin Abel's Cain, tries to carry on the war soon after he meets her.

8. Blood+



Saya Otonashi is an apparently ordinary girl who lives with her family in Okinawa City in worldly terms. Actually, her only peculiarities are anemia and her life is not recalled beyond the last year.

But the forgotten past of Saya comes back quickly to her haunt — one night, a creature that feeds on human blood attacks her at school. Only when all hope appears lost does a mysterious man named Haji appear and temporarily fends the creature away. However, Saya enters suddenly a trance, when her rescuer forces her to drink his blood and slaughters the monster easily using her own blood for the catalyst.

Then Saya learns of a Red Shield organization, founded exclusively to defeat the hellish beasts. Now Saya and Haji have to work with Red Shield to fight against this terrible monster and to unlock the girl's passing secrets.

Kojou Akatsuki 's days as an average high school student in the Itogami Island Demon District come to an abrupt end after a tragic experience leaves him with the supernatural powers of a vampire.

Fearing the destructive potential of Kojou, the Lion King Organization sends an apprentice sword-shaman, Yukina Himeragi, to track, and if he becomes a threat, to destroy the boy considered the most powerful vampire in the world. All of them pushed together by circumstances, form an unlikely alliance as Kojou is competent and struggle to protect the city from the numerous chaotic forces which are increasing.

Enter Hyakuya Yuuichirou, a young boy, who along with the rest of the children from his orphanage, is treated as livestock by the vampires. Even in captivity, Yuuichirou dreams big. He dreams of killing vampires. He dreams of killing them all.

5. Vampire Knight

Whilst this doesn't seem a particularly difficult task, the Day Class doesn't know the truth behind the Night Class, its superb students are vampires.

But Zero 's past secret soon threatens everybody's fragile peace, and things might not be the same again.

Koyomi Araragi, a student from a third high school, manages, with the aid of Meme Oshino, a man who lives in an abandoned building, to survive a vampire attack. Although saved from vampirism and now again from a person, several side effects remain, such as super-human cures and improved vision. In any case, with the help of his friend and high-quality chairman Tsubasa Hanekawa, Araragi attempts at measuring the life of a daily student.

The boy realizes that the girl is unnaturally weightless when his classman Hitagi Senjougahara falls down the stairs and is caught by Araragi. Given the objections of Senjougahara, Araragi insists on helping her to agree to get the help of the very man Oshino who had once helped him with his own trouble. Bakemonogatari follows Araragi in his effort to aid those who suffer from supernatural diseases through various accounts involving demons and gods.

2. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

In 1868 the British nobleman George Joestar was rescued by Dario Brando. When the kid gets fatherless with Dario 's son Dio, George hopes to repay his savior 's debt. The JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken follows the many thrilling expeditions of JoJo and his descendants from the first two arcs of the unusual Hirohiko Araki manga series. There're always plenty of bizarre adventures in store whether it's facing off with the evil Dio or the sinister Pillar Men.

In order to eliminate a vampire that turns the villagers of Cheddar into ghouls, Hellsing, an organization that specializes in addressing supernatural threats. Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, the leader of the organization, dispatches its most tremendous asset to end the event: a powerful vampire known as Alucard.

Armed with just a handgun, Alucard ravages Cheddar's monsters. But Seras Victoria, a young police officer, gets stuck in chaos and as a result, is deadly injured. Alucard is sorry for the girl and gives her a choice: die as a human or live as a vampire. Seras accepted his offer and started a new life as a Hellsing member.

Though that was the choice, Seras fights the fact that she isn't human anymore. However, if she wants to live in front lines in the fight between humans and the supernatural she must soon embrace being a creature of the night.
