9. Silver Spoon

Gin no Saji


Yuugo Hachiken is educated, hard-working, and sick of trying to meet his desires. Upon starting a brand new school year, he decided to take up a boarding school on the Hokkaido landscape at Ooezo Agricultural High School in order to avoid the tension caused by his parents.

Hachiken was initially persuaded he would do well in the institute; his brilliant classmates, people who have lived their entire lives in farms and all knowledge about food, vegetables, and the physiology of livestock, quickly proved incorrect to Hachiken! If it's to wake up for hard work at five in the morning or to care for farm animals, Hachiken is a complete hobbyist for difficult farming lives.

Houtarou Oreki, an energy-conservative high school student, finishes with more than the deal when he signs up at the behest of his sister to sign up for the Classics Club – particularly if he knows how deeply ingrained club history is. Sadly, Oreki is being drawn into an investigation into the mystery surrounding the club room, which is 45 years old.

Oreki must battle deadlines and lack of knowledge with resourcefulness and secret talent, along with his fellow club members, the strict but friendly Mayaka Ibara and the ever-curious Echo Chitanda, in order to not only find the truth under the dust of works produced years ago but also from smaller side cases.

Tomoya Okazaki is a delinquent who considers life slow and who feels he won't be anything. He is skipping school and planning to wash away his high school days. Tomoya passes a young girl quietly to herself one day as she walks to the school. She exclaims with little notice that Tomoya is interested in "Anpan!"

Tomoya finds that he notices Nagisa more and more around the school. Eventually, he admits and befriends her. Tomoya learns that Nagisa has been held back a year because of a serious illness. Her dream is to revive the drama club of the school with the help of four other girls.

Moved by the idea, Violet is starting working as an Automotive Memory Doll, a trade that will lead her to an adventure that shapes her clients' lives and hopefully results in self-discovery.

Yet, when she goes to Hirotaka Nifuji, an old friend of middle school, her scheme gets terrible immediately. But though she wants to keep her secret by inviting her to drink after work, her cover is blown when he asks her to be part of the upcoming summer book. Fortunately, Hanako Koyanagi and Tarou Kabakura, the only witnesses are both otakus.

The pair goes for drinks later that night, so they can get back together after all the years. After Narumi criticizes her former boyfriend for failing to date a fujoshi, Hirotaka suggests that she tries to date a fellow otaku, particularly himself. It makes a sacred vow to always be there for her, to support her and her farm in Monster Hunter for rare drops. Narumi immediately accepts, blown away by the idea. And both of us begin to date and their lovely awkward relationship begins.

Ryuuji Takasu is a gentle student of secondary school with a passion for homework; he has, however, contrary to his goodness, an intimidating face which often labels him a criminal. Taiga Aisaka, on the other hand, is a tiny student like a doll who is a sweet, delicate child, anything but one. Taiga is known in the school as the "Palmtop Tiger" and is equipped with a wooden katana and feisty attitude.

She discovers her temple buried underneath a landslide one night on her way back from work. The "prince" Yuki Souma and the famous author Shigure Souma, his cousin, stumble upon Tooru and invite her to stay with her until the home of her grandfather is over.

On arrival in Souma House, Tooru figures out its secret: when a Souma is shackled by someone of the opposite sex, they temporarily become one of the zodiac's creatures! But this particular thing is not a joking matter; it's quite a hideous curse with a dark past. As she continues her journey to meet more members of the family of the zodiac, will Tooru be appropriate to prepare for what lies behind the door of the household of Souma?
