The only descendant of the powerful yakuza family, Raku Ichijou, a first-year student at Bonyari High School. Raku gave his childhood friend a pledge ten years ago. Now all he needs to do is to have a locked pendant that can only be unlocked with the key the girl took when she left.
Raku has grown into a typical teenager, and all he wants is to remain as uninvolved as possible in his yakuza background. When the American Bee Hive Gang invades his family's turf, Raku's idyllic romantic dreams are sent out for a toss. Raku pretends to be in a romantic relationship with Chitoge Kirisaki, the beautiful daughter of Bee Hive's chief.
