Giant-raging creatures known as "Kabane" devour humans to sate their never-ending appetite. Only the most fortified of civilizations have survived this turmoil, as is the case with the island of Hinomoto. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a supergiant. Eren vows that he will murder every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind.
